As a highly valued member of staff, our Healthcare assistant supports the practice doctors and nurses with their daily work and undertakes tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement, spirometry, ECG, Flu injections, new patient checks and assists with the Diabetic clinic; she may also act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
