St Gabriel’s Medical Centre

A new way to access your GP Practice »

AskMyGP is for routine medical requests and should not be used for urgent matters. It is available Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays) from 6.30am and will be switched off when we reach clinical capacity, which can vary day to day. We aim to deal with your request within 24 to 48 working hours. When and who contacts you will be a clinically-driven decision.

URGENT / EMERGENCY requests should be submitted on 0161 773 1791.
FOR LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCIES PLEASE PHONE 999.
FOR CLINICAL ADVICE PLEASE CALL NHS 111.

Out of hours

Telephone the usual surgery number 0161 773 1791 and follow the instructions.

OUR PATIENTS ARE ALSO ABLE TO ACCESS APPOINTMENTS AT THE WEEKENDS (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FROM 8.00 AM UNTIL 6.00 PM)

This is a service currently being run by combined Bury GP Practices and you will see a local GP, although not necessarily one of our own Practice GP’s. Please ask the receptionist for further information.

In the event you may need medical advice you can contact NHS 111. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
